JANET FISCHIETTO

For the non-germans among you guys:

I first met Janet at Steffi and Minn's Wedding. She's originally from Milano and knows these guys from her time in L.A.

By chance, she stayed in Stuttgart this summer for a couple of weeks beeing part of the burlesque-show "Affairs" at Friedrichsbau Varieté. Her face was all over the place, since her Portrait was the lead on the poster of the show. One day I passed one of these and then immediately wrote her a message asking if she would like to do a shooting with me. She really liked the idea, so we met a couple of days later and went off for a walk around the blocks.

Once again some of the images are taken with my Squeezerlens. Even though the manual focussing is really hard and produces a lot of waste, once the focus fits (at least more or less), the look this lens produces is amazing. And this combined with an incredible model like Janet just puts a smile on my face...

Janet lernte ich auf Steffi und Minn's Hochzeit kennen. Sie kommt ursprünglich aus Mailand und kennt die Beiden aus L.A.

Wie es der Zufall so will war sie diesen Sommer für ein paar Wochen in Stuttgart als Part der Burlesque-Show "Affairs" im Friedrichsbau Varieté. Ihr Gesicht erstrahlte für einige Wochen in der ganzen Stadt, da Ihr Portrait als Aufmacher auf dem Plakat der Show zu sehen war. Eines Morgens sah ich eines dieser Plakate im Vorbeigehen und schrieb Sie darauf hin gleich an, ob Sie nicht Lust auf ein kleines Shooting hätte. Zu meiner Freude gefiel Ihr die Idee sofort. Kurze Zeit später trafen wir uns und zogen um die Häuser.

Einige der Bilder habe ich wieder mit der Squeezerlens aufgenommen. Zwar ist aufgrund des schwierigen manuellen Fokussierens immer noch viel Ausschuss dabei, aber wenn der Fokus einigermassen sitzt, bin ich schwer begeistert von dem Look, den das Ding zaubert. Und wenn dann noch so ein wundervolles Model vor der Linse steht, zaubert mir das ein Lächeln in's Gesicht...
